Causeway Prime Smash Burgers with Paula’s Homemade Burger Sauce

Smash Burgers

Serves: 4


4 x 4oz Causeway Prime Smash Burgers

4 Frozen Brioche Buns

2 Small Onions, Peeled & Finely Sliced

4 Slices Cheddar

4 Slices Gherkin

Ingredients

75g Isabelle’s Mayonnaise

2 tbsp Tomato Ketchup

15g Finely Chopped Gherkin

1 tbsp American Mustard

4 Chopped Scallions

For the Burger Sauce

  1. Place the smash burger on the grill and press down with a burger press or fish slice to flatten. Season with salt.

  2. Cook for 2 minutes then press the onions onto the top.

  3. Flip over and top the other side with cheese. Cook for 2 minutes. Toast the buns on the grill.

  4. Spoon some burger sauce on the bottom and top with the burger, gherkin and then add some sauce to the top bun and place on top.
