Lynas Foodservice Online Outlet Products

Please read these product terms and conditions carefully as they affect your rights and liabilities under the law and set out the terms under which Lynas Foodservice makes the products available to you ("Product Terms").

Lynas Food Outlet Trades in United Kingdom. All prices are displayed in GBP.

Prices and VAT

Please note that the prices on our Lynas Foodservice website are in GBP and are guide prices only. The actual price you pay will be the price charged at the time your order is placed.

All prices are expressed inclusive of any VAT payable unless otherwise stated. The price of the items does not include the delivery charge which will be charged at the rate specified when you place your order.

Availability

If for any reason beyond our reasonable control we are unable to supply a particular item, we will not be liable to you. When an item you have ordered is unavailable we will attempt to provide a suitable substitute, unless you have asked us not to.

To ensure availability of all our products customers may be limited to a maximum number of items.

Acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy from us. A contract is only formed when we have completed your order via delivery. At any point up until then, we may decline to supply the goods to you.

This service is only available for non-commercial and domestic use only. We direct orders from commercial and non-domestic use to our other Lynas Foodservice ordering platforms by calling 028 703 50 600 choosing option 1 (local rate from UK mobiles) or by visiting https://www.lynasfoodservice.com for more information.

Minimum Order Value

The minimum order value is £50.00 for home delivery.

If the value of the products in your basket when you confirm your order is less than the minimum basket value, we will be unable to complete your order.

Unfortunately we cannot combine separate orders once we have processed them, so please make sure you have everything you need in your basket before you confirm your order.

If you place more than one order, this will be subject to a further £50.00 minimum basket value and cannot be linked to the previous order so we are unable to guarantee same delivery days.

Delivery

Please note that we currently deliver goods to specified regions within Northern Ireland that are within a 20 mile radius to one of our Lynas Foodservice Food Outlets, subject to change. To check if we deliver in your area please use our Postcode Checker at https://lynasfoodoutlet.com/ecom/postcode.aspx.

Delivery will be charged at the following rates:-
Order value of £50.00-£74.99= £4.95 delivery charge
Order value of £75.00-£99.99= £3.95 delivery charge
Order value of £100.00+ = £2.95 delivery charge.
Delivery will be made to the address specified by you when you place your order.

Current delivery days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday, subject to change. Our current daily cut off for processing orders is 3pm. Depending on what time you place your order the website will adjust your available delivery days. In certain circumstances we may have to make adjustments to this. In this instance we will call you to notify you on the number you provide.

We will deliver your order to the main entrance of the delivery address. At this time, and in line with the Governments Social Distancing Policy (Covid-19), our drivers are unable to enter any premises and will instead leave your goods at the main door. All goods will be checked off by our driver and any shortages/damages recorded and signed by them. The driver will then ring the doorbell/knock the door, step back at least 2 metres, and await an adult aged 18 years or over to accept and take ownership of the goods. The contract will be completed at this point.

We operate a strict policy whereby we ask that you do not come within 2 metres of our drivers at any time.

If we attempt to deliver your order to the delivery address as arranged with you but there is nobody at the delivery address to accept your order, the driver will leave notification of attempted delivery and you will need to contact our Customer Service Centre on 028 703 50 600 choosing option 2 (local rates from UK mobiles) to rearrange delivery, if that is possible. In these circumstances, if we have to return to deliver the goods, a further charge may become payable provided that delivery was initially attempted on the date we told you.

Whilst we make every effort to deliver all your goods in the agreed time, we will not be liable if we fail to do so in part or in full due to circumstances beyond our control.

Returns and Refunds

We would like you to be happy with everything you purchase from Lynas Foodservice. Our refund policy is in addition to and does not affect any of your legal rights.

In light of Government guidelines on Social Distancing, we are unable to accept return of any product at point of delivery. If you are not happy with any of your products, please contact our Customer Service team within 24 hours of your delivery on 028 703 50 600 choosing option 2 (local rate from UK mobiles).

Please be aware that we cannot accept change of mind returns on certain products due to health and hygiene reasons (such as toothbrushes) and on perishable products (including fresh vegetables and meat).

Once we have investigated your query, if a refund is approved, we will refund your money in the same way you initially paid for it, by credit or debit card. Your money will go back onto the same card. Please allow 3-5 working days for the refund to show in your account.

If you purchased at an offer price, your refund will be based on that promotional price. If you are returning items that were purchased on a promotion, such as ‘Buy one get one half price’ or ‘3 for 2’, then the promotion will no longer apply and your refund value will be adjusted accordingly.

Cancellation

Please note that we are unable to cancel, change or amend any part of any order once payment is made. Please check your order carefully before making payment.

Alternatively, if you do have an issue with your order, please call our Customer Services team on 028 703 50 600 choosing option 2 (local rate from UK mobiles). Please note that orders cannot be cancelled by email.

Payment

We accept all major debit or credit cards. Your credit/debit card details will be encrypted to minimise the possibility of unauthorised access or disclosure. Authority for payment must be given at the time of placing your order.

At the point of order, full authorisation takes place whereby the total amount is requested from your bank.

Please ensure that the expiry date of your payment card is after the anticipated despatch date of your order. Payment is taken at the point of order for goods and in the event that the payment card has expired we will be unable to take payment and fulfil your order.

General

These Product Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Northern Ireland and any disputes will be decided only by Northern Irish courts.

If any of these Product Terms is held by any court of competent authority to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, in whole or in part, this will not affect the validity of the remaining Product Terms which will continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Dietary and Lifestyle Search Facility

We try to ensure that food products we sell accurately match your dietary profile. However, food products are frequently reformulated, ingredients may change and manufacturers data may be incorrect or incomplete.

The search results displayed will contain products that have been identified as not containing a specified allergen as an ingredient.

The other products have been collated by reviewing their ingredients list and any "may contains labelling", so although they will not contain a specified allergen they may not have been produced under controlled conditions, so therefore we cannot guarantee they are suitable for a specific dietary need.

We recommend that you do not rely solely on this information and that you always double check product labels. The search function is designed to help you save time and identify potentially suitable food, but it should not be used as an alternative to medical advice and your own checks.
